Pebble is Counting Down to a Surprise
There’s a countdown currently happening on the Pebble website — one that’ll expire on Tuesday at 10am. What could it mean? We’ll report on the specifics when Tuesday rolls around.
Apple Patents a VR Headset
There are a lot of companies making plays in the VR space right now — Facebook (with Oculus), Google, Sony, and the list goes on. It looks like you can add one more company to the mix — Apple. Not only is the company looking into cars, apparently, but it recently patented a VR headset for the iPhone. No word on when, or even if, the headset will see the light of day, but we’ll let you know as soon as we get more.

Apple has Apple Pay, Google is building Plaso, and Samsung? Well, the company isn’t resting on its laurels. Reports this past week confirmed that Samsung acquired a payments company called LoopPay, helping it compete with all the other mobile payments solutions out there. It’s believed that the LoopPay tech won’t make its way into Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S6, but who knows?
