Unboxing: Apple 27-inch LED Cinema Display

I just received my brand new Apple 27″ LED Cinema Display and decided to do a little unboxing video for everyone.  So far, I love it.  Of course, it is slightly smaller than my previous display (the 30″ Apple Cinema Display) but that drawback is outweighed by the other benefits of the 27″ LED display.  The 27″ Apple Cinema Display comes with a built-in iSight Camera, 3 USB 2.0 powered ports, and a built-in 2.1 speaker system (which I haven’t tested yet but I will for the review).  The display has a max resolution of 2560 x 1440, response time of 12ms, and a contrast ratio of 1000:1.

So what’s in the box?

• 1 27″ LED Apple Cinema Display
• 1 AC power cable
• On the back of the display is a cable with the mini display port connector and USB power connector which get plugged into the computer (it also has a power plug to charge Apple notebooks)

The Apple 27″ LED display weighs in at 23.5 lbs which is lighter than its predecessor the 30″ Apple Cinema Display which weighed in at a hefty 27.5 lbs.  I’m sure my desk appreciates the difference of 4 lbs.
