Twitter Advertising launches for all U.S. businesses
Until today, Twitter Advertising was an invite-only affair. In order to advertise your company on the service, you had to know someone who could get you in. That’s no longer the case — today at TechCrunch Disrupt in NYC, Twitter’s Senior Director of Product Revenue, Kevin Weil, announced that Twitter Advertising was officially open to all U.S. businesses.
Weil even tweeted out a $50 coupon code while on stage for the first 100 businesses that signed up, but we’re pretty certain all of the free credits were redeemed.
Just announced at #TCDisrupt that @twitterads is open to all US users. $50 credit for the 1st 100 eligible signups: twitter.twimg.com/Disrupt2013
