Quick! Call The AT&T Webmaster
AT&T has been known lately for screwing up, but, their latest mishap is quite silly. AT&T tweeted this morning that they would be releasing their second quarter earnings on July 23rd, 2009 by 8AM EST and that they would be broadcasting a live web cast of the conference call discussing the earnings around 10AM EST.
If you go to the AT&T press room page where they made the announcement you will notice a few funky characters (see screenshot below) in the “About AT&T” paragraph. While in the grand scheme of things it may not be the biggest deal, it certainly makes the AT&T web team look very silly.
Come on guys. Check your encoding and double check the page once it’s published. From one webmaster to another, It really looks very silly.
