iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Finally Here
Earlier this week Apple announced the long awaited iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and a set of wireless AirPod headphones.
As rumored, the company has removed the 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of earbuds that use the phone’s lightning charging port. The AirPods are not cheap and can be bought separately for a hefty $159 price tag, and although there is an adaptor supplied with the phone that will let you use your older 3.5mm headphones with the new iPhone 7, it is not possible to use the headphones and charge the phone at the same time (without using the Apple Dock or another third party product).
The key features of the new iPhone are the stereo speakers, the fact that it is water and dust resistant and has a longer battery life. The company has stated that the new phones battery life will last in the region of two hours longer that the iPhone 6, and the iPhone 7 Plus battery life will last an hour longer than the 6 Plus.
The iPhone 7 sports an A10 Fusion chip with a 64-bit four core CPU and comes with storage capacity of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. Pricing begins from $649.
The new camera boasts a six element lens with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. The company claims that the new camera is 60 percent faster. The iPhone 7 has a single lens while the iPhone 7 Plus has a dual lens camera with wide angle and telephoto available. The iPhone 7 Plus also houses and new portrait effect which is claimed to add depth of field to your photos.
As has be mentioned above the headphones are connectable via the Lightning port, with a free set coming with the phone as well as an adapter for the traditional 3.5mm jack headphones.
Of course even though the new iPhone will not be sporting a 3.5mm headphone jack, new products will flood the market with ways you can live without it. Personally, I think the commotion surrounding the lack of headphone jack will soon fade.
With the new iPhones being water resistant up to one metre for up to 30 minutes should also solve the problem that many people have dropping their phones down the toilet or accidentally falling or being pushed into a pool! Of course if you dropped it into the sea at a greater depth then the story would not have a happy ending.

And of course, perhaps the best thing about the iPhone is the outstanding apps that can be downloaded in order to personalize the phone to each your wants and needs. Apple apps allow you to browse and find information on practically every subject under the sun, including some incredible weather apps, productivity apps, communication apps, to super fun games like Mario, and even to being able to read online mobile casinos reviews.
