iPad 2 Lines Form Across the Country

It’s March 11th, 2011 and you know what that means – the iPad 2 went on sale today.  Lines have been forming at Apple stores across the country, which will start to sell the iPad 2 at 5PM (local time).  I drove past my local Apple store in Manhasset, New York and took a small video of the line which formed there.  Pretty crazy.  It looks like it did on the iPhone 4 launch back in June 2010.

I ordered my iPad 2 (even though I said I probably wouldn’t) earlier this morning.  I literally rolled out of bed and clicked “Buy now” without much thought.  I should be expecting the iPad 2 (Black 32GB WiFi) sometime within the next 5-7 business days.  An unboxing video will most likely follow shortly after I get that in my hands.
