The Consumer Electronics Show for 2015 is right around the corner, set to kick off in Las Vegas next week. As such, HTC is teasing its fans that it’ll have a new Desire smartphone to show off when the show gets underway.
According to a post on Neowin, HTC has posted a teaser image on its Weibo account – Weibo being a Chinese microblogging platform like Tumblr – that seems to promise a new Desire smartphone will be shown off at CES. “Always Desire More,” it reads. Take a look:
Chances seem good it’ll continue along the trajectory of the current Desire smartphone line, either raising the specs from the recently released, selfie-focused Desire Eye with a new premium handset or downgrading them for a more budget-friendly smartphone.
What will HTC have? We’ll know for sure next week, but based on the strides it made in 2014, next year ought to be a good one for the company in terms of critically acclaimed handsets. Hopefully HTC will find a way to transform that acclaim into more phone sales, too.
