I'll Be Attending The Audience Conference 2010
August 14th, 2010. Mark it on your calendars. It’s The Audience Conference. A conference held by 1938media in conjunction with the Affiliate Summit. I think the name of the conference says it all. If you have to ask what this conference is about that’s where I’d point you. In the age of the Internet and digital and social media, I cannot stress how important it is to engage your audience. So I hope to learn a lot from the speakers this year. Who is speaking you ask? It is quite the impressive list.
I’ll run off a few names for you, Chris Brogan – social media extraordinaire, Chris Pearson – Thesis developer (the framework that BestTechie runs on), Jason Calacanis – Mahalo CEO, Brian Alvey – Co-founded Weblogs, Inc. and creator of Blogsmith, Dan Patterson – The guy in charge of digital platform development at ABC News Radio, and that is just a few of the many great speakers that will be there. I’m excited to learn new things so I can continually improve my relationship with you guys (my audience). Of course, if you want to see something here or want to be involved you can always email me and I’ll see what I can do for you.
If you will be at the Audience Conference this year, feel free to stop me and say hi. I’d love to meet you. I’ve never been to the Audience Conference, but I have seen and read great things. I’m sure it’ll be better than my experience at Gnomedex last year. Apparently, I’m banned from all future Gnomdex events (at least so I have been told), but this years speaker list doesn’t look that impressive anyway, so I guess that turned out alright.
Will you be at the Audience Conference 2010? If so, I look forward to seeing you!
