Amazon Deal: Get a PlayStation 4, 'The Last of Us Remastered', and 'Shadow of Mordor' for $399
We’re only a little more than a year out from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launches, but we’ve already seen some really good price drops and amazing bundles. Today’s deal features the PlayStation 4 bundled with two well-reviewed titles, The Last of Us Remastered and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, for the console’s original asking price of $399.
The Last of Us Remastered is currently selling on Amazon for $29.99. Likewise, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is also selling on Amazon for $29.99. These are discounts themselves, but while they’re active, picking up this PlayStation 4 bundle will save you at least $60.
And these are some pretty good games, by the way: The Last of Us Remastered snagged a 95 on Metacritic, while Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor secured an 84.
Some quick things to note — you’re going to get a digital copy of The Last of Us Remastered, and a physical disc copy of Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. So if you’ve already played TLoU and you’d planned on selling the disc to someone, there’s no disc to sell, so you’re not going to be able to do that. On the flip side, you’re going to have to put the Mordor disc into your PS4 every time you want to play it. So if you’re someone who is entirely devoted to being “all digital,” that’s something you’ll have to consider.
If you’re in the market for a PS4 right now, this is the deal I’d jump on. I’m not sure we’ll get an official price drop from Sony until E3, and there’s no promise that retailers will be looking to offer more dramatic cuts before then. $399 for a PlayStation for and two great games. Take advantage.
