Samsung Galaxy S5 Reportedly Set for Late February Announcement, Late April Release
Another day, another leak about Samsung’s potentially forthcoming and hotly anticipated new phone, the Samsung Galaxy S5. Today’s leak brings us details about the announcement and launch of the device, but we won’t know until Samsung themselves speak up.
The rumor mill today is churning out details regarding a launch window for the S5, with blogger Eldar Murtazin claiming an announcement from Samsung will happen in February, with an official launch to follow in April.
Samsung Galaxy S5 launch – 18.00. Barcelona. 23 February. Price the same. Launch – end of April. Specs – u know them :) new touchwiz ;)

This lines up with earlier predictions that the announcement would come out of the Barcelona-based Mobile World Congress conference, which will occur on February 23.
From what we’ve heard so far, the S5 (if it’s even called that), will have an extremely high-resolution display, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a gargantuan 2900 mAh battery. Just yesterday, we also got a preview of what the device’s Google Now interface could look like, and it certainly impresses if it’s legitimate.
We’re just under a month out from the predicted announcement date of Samsung’s latest flagship phone, so stay tuned to BestTechie for all the latest as we get it.
