Apple Store vs Microsoft Store on Black Friday

Regardless of what I think of Black Friday, this is a truly remarkable video. It tells a tale of two stores, one owned by Apple the other by Microsoft. One was packed on Black Friday, one was empty. I’m sure you can figure out which of the two was the crowded one.

Now in fairness, it does appear that the Microsoft Store is a bit bigger than that particular Apple Store, but even still that just means more people could fit so what’s stopping them from going in? That being said, I think it’s also worth noting that the Apple Stores by me look like that on most weekends so it isn’t too much of a surprise.

There’s no question about it, it’s tough to compete against Apple. However, despite Microsoft’s hellish month, this is perhaps the fullest Microsoft Store I’ve ever seen. Props to them.
